What with Easter having just passed and the realization that this semester will be finished in less than a month and my travels will immediately be beginning again, I feel it was a fitting time to resurrect this lovely blog I was keeping while on my jaunt which began a year ago come this May.
It has certainly been an interesting, often times rocky, journey over the last twelve months. More has changed than I could possibly have imagined but I can say with certainty that I am thrilled with the direction I seem to be headed and can't wait for the adventures which lie ahead.
Although the plans are still being made, the general idea is that I will be on my way to Italy come May 12th for a Pirquet Family Reunion. It will be great to see everyone and catch up! My immediate family and I will then be trekking to Austria (are you really surprised?!) to celebrate Pfingsten (Pentecost) with the tight knit group of friends we know from our days of living in the home land. And after that your guess is as good as mine :) I hope to stay in Austria through early July but everything is still up in the air. Whatever ends up happening I can't wait to be on the plane again headed for far away places!!
